Since the current political deadlock was triggered by the ruling
New Korea Party's acquisition of an Assembly majority through the
reckless recruitment of independent and opposition lawmakers after the
April 11 general elections, it is natural that the NKP top leader Kim take
the initiative to break the impasse.
