이번 협약으로 카사코리아는 향후 블록체인 기반의 스마트 컨트랙트 기술을 활용해 신탁회사가 발행한 부동산신탁 수익증권을 전자증서 형태로 유통하고, 이 전자증서를 활용해 투자자간 상호 거래가 가능한 유통플랫폼을 제공할 예정이다.
Under this agreement, Kasa Korea will distribute revenue securities of real estate trust issued by trust companies in the form of electronic certificates using the technology of blockchain-based smart contract in the future, and utilize this electronic certificate to provide a distribution platform for mutual transactions between investors.
예탁증서(depositary receipts)
주식이나 수익증권의 유통을 원활하게 하기 위해 예탁기관이나 예탁기관이
지정한 수탁기관이 발행회사의 원주를 보관하고 이에 대신하여 발행하는
대체증권. 주로 외국인 투자자에게 주식을 판매할 때 예탁증서를
발행한다. 이를 줄여서 「DR」이라 하는데 발행시장에 따라 미국 시장에서
발행하면 「ADR」, 유럽시장에서 발행하면 「EDR」등으로 부른다.
