There are a few things to keep in mind if you want to get perfect shots while camping.
Take pictures of your family.
Nature shots can be really nice, but you'll be looking at those old family camp photos in ten years.
Bring extra batteries.
Most cameras use really special batteries and you may not be able to find them at a camp store.
Temperature can affect your batteries and film.
If you are taking pictures in chilly weather, your batteries may die.
Don't throw them away.
Just warm them up and you'll be ready to shoot again.
Film does not like heat so try to keep your film in a cool spot.
You can’t take too many pictures, so bring lots of film.

Some universities remain silent on the important issues of the day,
justifying their silence on the grounds that universities are neutral and
should not become involved. Such unwillingness to participate turns off
many students and members of the community who look to universities for
wise leadership. Campuses should serve as marketplaces for ideas. By
participation in their community, they should provide a genuine service,
even to many who believe that universities are academic in the worst
sense of the term.

The bedroom smelled of the wood it was made of. Early in the morning
the pleasant smell of the wet forest entered through the screen. The
walls in the camp were thin, and when I woke up, I dressed softly so as
not to wake the others. I came out quietly into the sweet outdoors and
started out in the boat along the shore. The lake was cool and motionless
in the long shadows of the tall trees. Nothing disturbed the stillness of
the lake.
